Experience Two Hours of Behind-the-Scenes Fun on the Farm!

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as you meet and play with our tiniest farm animals! Feed them their favourite treats and drinks, and embark on a storytelling expedition around the farm to learn all about our adorable residents and their daily antics.

You'll step into the animal pens, exclusive areas usually reserved for our rangers. Unleash your creativity with a crafting session where you'll make an enrichment toy for your favourite animal, plus create a special keepsake to take home.

We'll also have time for a tasty snack and refreshing drink, and at the end of your visit, you'll receive a certificate of attendance to celebrate your achievement as a junior farmer!

Cost:

Child: £18 per child, Suitable for 3 – 10yrs. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Adult: £6.95 per adult (Occombe Annual Pass Holders are free).

Notes: If you are pregnant or think you could be, it is recommended that you should not take part in this experience or be the supervising adult.

A whole day of farming fun just for kids! Help our farm rangers with feeding, mucking out and handling of our animals. Take our sheep and goats for their walks. Learn how to do health checks, with games and fun activities too.

Times: 9am - 3pm

Cost: £35 per child. Suitable for children 8-16yrs.

Booking is essential. Children can be left in our care and will be supervised at all times. 

Children need to bring snacks, lunch and drinks. Children must wear appropriate clothing, suitable for the weather. Wellies or strong shoes (no open-toe footwear) are essential because they will be going into animal pens. 

The session will start promptly at 9am. Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before this start time, to allow for event registration. Your child will need to be dropped off and picked up from Occombe Farm Park & Play Reception.

Enhance your day out at Occombe Farm by joining our lamb feeding experience – a seasonal activity that allows you to get up close and personal to our cute and fluffy lambs! 

What happens on this experience?

We're offering you the exclusive opportunity to help our Farm Rangers to make the lambs' milk bottles and help bottle feed them. You'll have the chance to take some fantastic photos and even spend some time playing with our little lambs!  

The experience will last around 30 minutes and includes, bottle making, lamb feeding, playtime with the lambs and a personalised certificate to commemorate your special day.

Important notes: 

This experience does not include admission to Occombe Farm Park and Play. Separate admission fees are required for access to the farm park and play where the experience takes place.

It is recommended that pregnant women, or anyone who thinks they could be pregnant, should not take part in this experience or be the supervising adult.

This experience is only suitable for those aged 3 years or over.

The £10.00 charge is for one bottle per lamb. A maximum of 4 people per bottle applies, this can be two adults and two children or one adult and three children. All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. 

The Lamb Feeding Experience will have limited availability and must be booked in advance. 

Come and craft a one-of-a-kind Spring wreath to celebrate Easter. Watch your wreath flower with spring bulbs and primroses throughout the Easter season and a touch of scent when you open your front door. Have fun decorating your wreath with a mixture of Easter decorations, and a selection of locally sourced plants and bulbs from Ipplepen.

Hosted by Eloise, a skilled Devon-based florist and proprietor of Ipplepetals, you’ll be guided through a relaxed and welcoming workshop. Gain new skills as she directs you step by step to create a distinctive Spring wreath, with lots of valuable tips for its ongoing care.

Notes: These workshops are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and above. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult and will make one wreath together. One child per adult. When booking with a child book one adult place and mention in the notes that a child is accompanying you.

The workshop fee does not include entry to Occombe Farm Park & Play. On-site car parking is free.
