Bookable Events & Activities
Our bookable events and activities are in addition to our free daily programme at Occombe, which are included in your ticket price. Bookable events are perfect for big kids and little kids to enjoy. Kids do need to be accompanied by a parent on most of these events, please check when booking.

Farmer for a Day
Kids! Get to work alongside our rangers and our animals for a whole day. Mucking out, feeding and playing. Learn about animal care. There’s games and activities too.
A whole day of farming fun just for kids! Help our farm rangers with feeding, mucking out and handling of our animals. Take our sheep and goats for their walks. Learn how to do health checks, with games and fun activities too.
Dates:
Wednesdays; 23rd July & 6th August 2025
Times: 9am - 3pm
Cost: £35 per child. Suitable for children 8-16yrs.
Booking is essential. Children can be left in our care and will be supervised at all times.
Children need to bring snacks, lunch and drinks. Children must wear appropriate clothing, suitable for the weather. Wellies or strong shoes (no open-toe footwear) are essential because they will be going into animal pens.
The session will start promptly at 9am. Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before this start time, to allow for event registration. Your child will need to be dropped off and picked up from Occombe Farm Park & Play Reception.

Occombe Kids Activity Week - Summer
A whole week of outdoor farming fun- just for kids this summer!
A whole week of outdoor fun at Occombe! Budding young farmers will enjoy hands-on animal care, forest skills, cooking in our Community Kitchen, and fun team challenges. From pony grooming and goat walking to pizza making and den building – every day is a new adventure!
Dates: Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August
Times: 9am - 3pm
Cost: £200 per child per week, £175 per child Annual Pass Holder, per week.
Suitable for ages 8yrs - 16yrs
